eFPS Integrity
Effective date: June 1st, 2026 Last updated: June 16th, 2026 Applies to: the eFPS Integrity client software ("the Client"), and the related verification and review services operated at everythingfps.com and ac.everythingfps.com (together, "the Service").
Operator / Data Controller: everythingFPS.com ("eFPS", "we", "us", "our") Contact: [email protected]
By installing, running, or using the Client, you agree to this Privacy Policy and the Use Agreement below. If you do not agree, do not install or run the Client and do not participate in ranked play that requires it.
The Client is an anti-cheat and game-integrity tool for ranked Half-Life 2: Deathmatch play organized by eFPS. It verifies your game files and performs periodic screen monitoring during ranked sessions so that league administrators can manually review play for fairness. This policy explains what information we collect, why, how long we keep it, how it is protected, and the rights you have over it.
We have tried to collect as little as is necessary to run a fair competition, and to be transparent: the Client's source code is publicly available so anyone can verify what it does.
We collect the following categories of information when you use the Client:
a. Steam account information. When you sign in through Steam, we receive your public Steam identifier (SteamID64), your Steam display name, and your Steam avatar image/URL. We do not receive your Steam password or payment information.
b. Technical and session information. Each time the Client runs, we record your IP address, the Client version, a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of the Client executable, and timestamps for session start, periodic check-ins, and end.
c. Game-integrity information. The Client reads certain Half-Life 2: Deathmatch game files and records file paths, file hashes, and — where a file matches a review rule — limited excerpts of that file's contents, together with the resulting detection outcome (e.g., "clean," "needs review," "flagged").
d. Screen-monitoring images. During ranked sessions, the Client captures a small number of still images per scan cycle, at random times, cropped to the Half-Life 2: Deathmatch game window, and uploads them to the Service for manual review. These images may incidentally include anything displayed within the game window at the moment of capture.
e. Information you provide. Any information you submit to us directly (for example, in a dispute, appeal, or support request).
The Client does not capture audio, does not record your keystrokes, does not access your webcam or microphone, and does not read the memory of the game or any other running program.
We use the information above to:
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, our lawful bases are:
Because screen monitoring is the most privacy-sensitive feature, we want it to be unambiguous:
Detection results are advisory inputs for human review only. The Service does not automatically ban, penalize, or take any final action against you based solely on automated processing. All disciplinary decisions involve review by a human league administrator. (This addresses GDPR Art. 22.)
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We disclose information only as follows:
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access-restricted administrative interfaces, storage of screen-monitoring images outside the public web root, and transport over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and any required authorities as required by applicable law.
The Service is operated and hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside that region (including the EU/UK), your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
Under the GDPR (EU/UK): access; rectification; erasure ("right to be forgotten"); restriction of processing; objection to processing (including processing based on legitimate interests); data portability; and the right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA (California residents): the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and disclosed; the right to access and to delete your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate information; the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (note: we do not sell or share); and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify your request (for example, by confirming control of the associated Steam account) and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Because accounts are identified by SteamID, we may ask you to verify ownership of the Steam account in question.
The Service is not directed to children under 18 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If you believe a child under the applicable minimum age has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page https://ac.everythingfps.com/download/legal.html with an updated effective date, and where required we will seek renewed consent. Your continued use of the Client after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This Use Agreement is a binding agreement between you and everythingFPS.com. By installing, running, or using the Client or participating in ranked play that requires it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Client.
You must be at least 18 years old (or have verifiable parental/guardian consent where permitted) and capable of forming a binding agreement to use the Client. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements.
The Client's source code is made available under the MIT License (see the LICENSE file in the public repository). That license governs your right to inspect, copy, and modify the source code. This Use Agreement separately governs your use of the Service — that is, connecting a Client to eFPS's servers and participating in ranked play.
Nothing in the open-source license entitles you to use a modified, altered, or unofficial build of the Client to connect to the Service or participate in ranked play (see Sections 5 and 6).
You acknowledge and agree that, while running, the Client will:
You consent to this collection and processing as a condition of ranked participation. You may withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the Client; doing so means you may no longer participate in ranked play that requires it.
You agree that you will not:
Ranked participation requires the official Client build as published by eFPS. The Service verifies the Client's version and integrity and may refuse connections from builds it does not recognize. Studying or modifying the source for legitimate, non-competitive purposes is permitted by the open-source license; using any non-official build to participate in ranked play is not.
THE CLIENT AND THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE CLIENT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU INSTALL AND RUN THE CLIENT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The Client is designed to operate without reading or modifying game memory and to be compatible with Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC). However, eFPS does not control Valve, Steam, VAC, or any other third party, and makes no guarantee regarding the actions of any third party, including any account action taken by Valve or Steam. eFPS is not responsible or liable for third-party services or for any action taken by them.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVERYTHINGFPS.COM AND ITS ADMINISTRATORS, VOLUNTEERS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE CLIENT OR THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE CLIENT OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless everythingFPS.com and its administrators, volunteers, and contributors from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Client or the Service, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service or to ranked play, with or without notice, for any violation of this Agreement, suspected cheating, or to protect the integrity of the competition. You may stop using the Client at any time by uninstalling it.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may modify this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page https://ac.everythingfps.com/download/legal.html with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Client after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
This Agreement and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and eFPS regarding the Client and the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
